Octopus – owned by Paul Allen
Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen certainly has a knack for buying expensive things. When he’s not busy seeing how things are with the Seattle Seahawks and the Portland Trail Blazers – the sporting teams he owns – he’s seen sailing the seas with his mega yacht the Octopus. The 414-foot ship costs about $200-million and is fitted with two helipads, allowing Allen to be more mobile anywhere he is with his yacht or to make it easier to access from any point.
It also features impressive amenities, including a couple of game rooms, a recording studio, a spa, a hot tub, a swimming pool, a movie theater, and two submarines.
