Don’t Touch The Lava
Of course seeing lava up close and personal is an experience of a lifetime, but touching it can lead to insufferable harm. If you happen to go on one of the tours on the big island that brings you close enough to touch flowing lava, don’t even think about it, no matter how pretty it is. Not only is it unsafe and very painful, it is also said to be very disrespectful of their Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes, Pele.
