Forget to Get Your Own Drink
Do not take it personally when everybody orders drinks for themselves and not for you. On the contrary, this is considered “Norwegian politeness” that shows that their friendship is not dependent on what you can give them. Norwegians order for themselves so that you do not have to feel like you owe them something.
