She also has gone on to share that her she truly believes that tourism can be the key to making an immense, positive change in the world. Not only by helping end poverty but by creating attention to world wide issues like the worsening environment, lack of food and water, lack of education and even just basic human rights. Cassie believes that “Tourism is one of the only industries in the world that has seen constant growth over the past 25 years with over 1 billion people traveling in 2014 [alone].”
Finishing Her Expedition In Record Time
On February 2, 2017, Cassie finished her entire journey of visiting all 196 countries in 18 months and 26 days. She is the youngest woman and person to break the record, plus she did it in half the time of anyone else prior. And if that wasn’t incredible enough, her goal of spreading peace, love and understanding has reached pretty much the entire world.
