Somalia has been known for a lot of things that raise red flags for foreigners planning to visit this African nation. Poverty is extreme and piracy is rampant here. There are also illegal arms dealers everywhere, not to mention human trafficking and drug smuggling that have been widespread in this country.

13. Guyana, South America

Stay away from Guyana. This small South American country has a murder rate three times higher than that of the entire United States.
