On December 7, 2003, 13-year-old Daniel Morcombe was on his way to buy some Christmas presents for his family. He stopped at a Sunshine Coast bus stop. He was hoping to catch the 1:35 pm bus to the Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre to get a haircut, apart from buying those presents for his family. But he never returned. It was the last known place Daniel had been before he went missing for good. His case was to become one of the most notorious missing person cases in Queensland.
