One of the saddest missing person stories was of Jaycee Lee Dugard who was kidnapped in California in 1991. On June 10 of that year, Terry Probyn, Jaycee Lee’s mother, watched in horror as she heard her daughter screaming while hurrying to catch a school bus. Terry looked up to see Jaycee being shoved into an unidentified car. Jaycee was only 11 at the time and she went missing for more than 18 years.
