Joining The Navy

By the time James turned 18, he was finally eligible to serve in the Armed Forces so decided to join the Navy. He was a part of the Naval Intelligence group, and eventually, at the age of 20, he was transferred to the CIA. But this time, rather than working against them, he was working for them, tracking some of the world’s worst warlords and terrorists.

The Beginning Of Technological Warfare

According to the then 20-year old hacker, “I was responsible for tracking the money going to various warlords and radical sheiks in North Africa and the Middle East. Then I was doing penetration testing on military installations, working with IT groups to see if I could steal data from outside. It was the beginning preparation for technological warfare.”
