In 2007, Putin’s wealth amounted to 3.7 million rubles (US$150,000) in bank accounts, an 833 sq ft apartment in Saint Petersburg in addition to various other assets. In 2012, Putin’s income was 3.6 million rubles ($113,000). However, leaked evidence has suggested that most of his wealth is hidden overseas.
