Mike’s first marriage

Mike Wells moved on and soon became married. In their first year, he and his wife had a daughter. A son followed 15 months later. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t work out, and when their youngest child was barely a year old, Mike’s wife filed for a divorce. Their marriage ended on March 28, 1989. And because Mike didn’t show at the court hearing, his ex-wife was granted sole custody of their children. He was given visitation rights and was ordered to pay $200 a month in child support.

Together again with Jill

After the divorce, Mike moved to Colorado, where he rekindled his relationship with Jill Evenson, his former high school sweetheart. But this time, Mike wasn’t going to make the same mistake he made before, so he married her on July 20, 1991. It was a marriage that everyone thought was going to last for a long time. But the truth was, it was a marriage doomed to fail right from the start.
