Getting A Search Warrant

This would push Detective Butcher to request for a search warrant to search Jay and Marjorie’s home. And on the night they went in, Marjorie’s lover was there, a man named Larry Weisberg who happened to be one of the managers from Marjorie’s gym. And upon searching the home, they would find many of Jay’s belongings that he would have never left home without, a bunch of credit cards, as well as one of his business checkbooks. They knew then and there that Marjorie was lying about Jay heading straight on another trip. He had come home, unlike what she had said. But where was he now?

Finding A Torso

It would be four weeks after he went missing when a drifter happened to find a torso inside a Rubbermaid container. It was sitting in the middle of the desert, along with ‘a wad of cash and the remains of a bullet.’ Strangely, where it was found was incredibly close to Jay and Marjorie’s home. And even worse, it was missing a head, arms and legs. But when the DNA test came back, it was a positive match for Jay Orbin. His family’s fears were confirmed. Their beloved Jay was dead, and it was obvious that someone had murdered him.
