She Didn’t Take The Stand

The only person who came to Marjorie’s aid was her ex-lover, Michael J. Peters, but it would seem that even his words could not sway the jury. Marjorie also shared how she was advised by her lawyers to not take the stand. Something she believes was a huge mistake. The prosecution would go on to give their entire portrayal of Marjorie’s life. They painted her as a money-hungry stripper who worked at ‘Thee Dollhouse’ and the other clubs, and that she was just in the marriage for the money and using Jay to have a child. Unfortunately for Marjorie, there was so much evidence presented against her. Her lawyers even asked her if she would be willing to take a plea deal, but she said, “I will never let my son hear me say that I did this to his father. I’ll let them kill me first.”

Found Guilty

Marjorie’s lawyers supposedly felt confident that the prosecution was not able to prove that she had killed Jay beyond reasonable doubt. But when the verdict was finally read out loud to the entire court, she was found guilty of first-degree murder of her husband and given a life sentence, which she is serving at the Phoenix Arizona Estrella Jail. She remains in solitary confinement, something that she herself requested.
