Speaking Up 5 Years Later

Five years after her trial had ended, Marjorie would chose to film herself in her cell over a 6-month period, talking about the murder of Jay Orbin and who had really killed him. She claimed that it was really Larry Weisberg who had committed the murder, and that she was just scared to say in the beginning because she was afraid that he would kill her son. She also said that she was afraid for Larry at the time, which seemed highly strange considering she was now calling him a murderer. But many wanted to know why she would come out with her video diary from jail 5 years later, and all she could say that she was now ready to say the truth. But after everything, still, no one believes her.

Fighting For The Rest Of Her Life

Until this very day, even almost 15 years after her conviction, Marjorie still claims that she is innocent of the murder of her late husband, Jay Orbin. She shared, “I’ll keep fighting to save my life. And I’ll keep fighting to get back to my life.” Meanwhile, her son has been living with Jay’s brother, and he has never seen his mother since. Jay’s mom shared that she wants Jay to be remembered as “… a loving father, son, a good brother, that he cared for other people, that he had a precious life that someone’s taken from him and we wish we could get him back. He’s in a better place.” And even though Marjorie still fights to prove her innocence, it would seem that not only does nobody believe her, no one truly cares. And she will spend the rest of her living days in a cold and sterile prison cell, all alone.
