While the Sam Simon had to refuel and reroute several times during the chase, Captain Siddharth Chakravarty would eventually join the Barker who never left the Thunder’s trail. He recalled just how dangerous the trip was. The icebergs were gigantic and they all had to be on guard or else they would all suffer from a deadly impact that would sink the ship and put the crews’ lives in grave danger.

During the wild chase, Chakravarty decided to make his way to Mauritius. It was there that he alerted the Interpol and the local authorities about the Thunder’s whereabouts. Sailors and fishermen had their own styles in creating knots, net grids, and rope splices. The captain was already familiar with the nets that came from the Thunder. Before he left Mauritius, he handed some of the evidence back to the authorities.
