It all began on the fateful day of February 8, 2005 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Jameel McGee had accepted a ride with some ‘friends’ to a nearby boutique. McGee needed to get to the store to pick up a few supplies for his son’s 1st birthday and so he took a ride with people whom he knew were drug users. It was going to be the worst decision of his life.
