Although not everyone will agree with how McGee has chosen to forgive Collins, he can’t be deterred from the decision he made to forgive the once crooked cop, and how he has made him one of his best friends. And Collins has also turned his life completely around, and also has McGee to thank. So if these two men have not proven to be beacons of light in a very jaded and negative world, then it would seem no one else can.
