Allegations and talks
Aside from the false leads and the wrong suspects, the allegations against the police were cruel. People believed that they weren’t doing enough to find the killer. The talks became so bad that some citizens took matters into their hands. In fact, a group of people assaulted a man simply because they believed that he had information about Maria. This wasn’t just a case of murder, people also threw accusations of racism at the officials.
