Goldie Osgood, a.k.a. The Pigeon Woman

Before Elisa Lam’s mysterious unsolved case, a well-known unsolved murder took place at the Cecil Hotel in 1964. The victim was Goldie Osgood, also known as the Pigeon Woman.

Goldie was a retired telephone operator. She earned the nickname because she was known to spend some time feeding the pigeons at the nearby Pershing Square.
