Richard Ramirez, a.k.a. Night Stalker

A few decades later, the Cecil Hotel became home to some of the most notorious criminals to ever walk the streets. One of those hardened criminals was serial killer Richard Ramirez, also called by the authorities as the Night Stalker.

Richard Ramirez was born in El Paso, Texas, and was the son of a former policeman from Mexico. His crime spree started in Los Angeles in June 1984 and later on spread out to San Francisco until his capture in 1985.
