8. Zoo staff mauled to death by three white tigers
At a Singapore zoo, a zoo keeper named Nordin Montong waded through the moat inside a tiger enclosure with three white tigers in it. He appeared to have been taunting the tigers with his broom and a bucket.
One of the tigers lunged at him and knocked him over. Visitors thought what they were seeing was a staged scene, but when one of the tigers bit Montong in the back and dragged him into the den, people started to scream and other zoo staffs were alerted. Montong was recovered, but his wounds in the back and neck and a fractured skull caused his death even before he could be brought to the hospital.
