Towns ended up turning himself into the police, who eventually charged him with “giving false statements and criminal attempt to commit theft by deception.” It would seem that Towns answered the couple’s Craigslist Ad claiming that he had the car they were looking for, when in fact, he was just “luring the couple in for cash.”
