A painful reminder

He wears his father’s ring to this day so that he will be constantly reminded of the terrible things his father did. He vows never to commit the same mistake Richard did, and that he will never abandon his own family.

Lives shattered

Richard’s children with Linda were devastated by what he put them through. Matthew became her mother’s source of emotional strength, while Doug resorted to drugs, for which he served multiple prison sentences.
