Gary, who happened to be in a wheelchair, as well as speak with a slur, was a mentally disabled homeless man. People who met him often felt bad for him and the state that he was in so much so that they gave him money to help him survive on the streets.

But what all these kindhearted strangers who handed over their hard earned cash didn’t know, was that Gary’s entire story was a huge lie. Not only was he not truly homeless, he wasn’t even mentally handicapped. Plus, he happened to be earning quite a large amount of cash while begging on the streets.
