Luke Carquillat was spending time with his girlfriend Kerry Stoutenburgh and her family as they were swimming in Maryland’s Conowingo Creek. It was a beautiful day- everyone was together and having an amazing time. Little did anyone know that what started out as an innocent family gathering would be the start of a grueling and tragic end of Kerry’s life.
An unsuspecting young couple
Luke and Kerry were sweethearts since high school. They met at Kingston high school in New York where they both attended. After graduation, they moved in together in an apartment in Brooklyn. Kerry proceeded to study cinematography at Brooklyn College.
