A brilliant person

 That Fateful Day in Maryland

Luke joined Kerry and her family as they went on a swimming trip in Maryland’s Conowingo creek. She jumped from a bridge several times. After one of those jumps, she complained about water getting up her nose, which, according to her doctor, “sealed her fate.”
