Bear Technician

Then some months later, in May of 2018, Amber was going to finally get the dream job she had been wishing for. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service would hire the 28-year old, finally giving her the title ‘Bear Technician,’ which meant that she would finally be working on studies dealing precisely with bears.

Gathering Grizzly Hair Samples

Amber would be directed to collect grizzly bear hair samples around the area of the Cabinet Mountains. The area was said to have around roughly 50 grizzlies residing there, aside from a number of black bears as well.
