Being Put In The ICU

Although it would be shared that she was ‘lucky to have survived,’ Amber would still be placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital in order to watch over her recovery. Doctors needed to make sure that she didn’t seize from the trauma to her brain. They also wanted to make sure her wounds didn’t get infected later on from the surgery since there happened to be quite a lot of ‘debris’ left behind from the attack itself.

Stable Yet Not In The Clear

Astonishingly, Amber not only faced a huge challenge in getting herself the help she needed, she also managed to survive the grizzly bear attack in the first place. And while getting attacked by a grizzly is not a common occurrence, when it does happen, the odds of a human surviving are not in the human’s favor. Amazingly, Amber came out of her attack alive, stable and in recovery.
