Unhappy Marriage

All wasn’t well in the Pladl home. They may have outlasted the difficult times, but Steven’s character took a toll on the marriage. They had already been sleeping on separate rooms. Alyssa could no longer take the verbal and emotional abuse. More importantly, she was concerned about how her two kids were. They were constantly exposed to his violent outbursts and she just kept wondering how long she would be able to endure this.

Other Side of the Pond

Denise, on the other hand, grew up in a happy and safe environment. Alyssa got her wish and gave the little girl what she needed most. However, she no longer went by her birth name. Her adoptive parents renamed her Katie. She was raised by Tony and Kelly Fusco, a living couple who gave her a loving home. Growing up with their biological daughter wasn’t a problem either.
