Meeting the Pladls

On August 2016, Katie decided to meet her biological parents. The need to know them was just too much to ignore. And while the Fuscos didn’t want to allow her, they also knew that she had been old enough to make her own decisions. They simply hoped that she would eventually follow the plans they had for her.

Moving In

Katie had already been 18 at that time when she moved into the Pladl home despite the apprehensions her adoptive parents had. College had to wait because she had wanted to know more about Steven and Alyssa. And while she knew that her real parents had a very different life, this was also when she realized just how dire the situation was.
