This photo shows North Korea’s taxis and taxi drivers. North Korea is constrained by economic problems and government restrictions, as Wikipedia described. The near absence of private automobiles had been a result of fuel constraints, making road transportation a secondary necessity. Also, as aforementioned before, poor road construction and maintenance discourages most of the taxi and bus drivers. Most of the roads in North Korea are paved with dirt, crushed stone, gravel, and/or are poorly maintained.
