A landscape of North Korea
This photo would remind you of a 50s-designed set-up on the North Korean side of the river. The underdevelopment is prevalent on the outskirts of Pyongyang and the rest of the cities where foreign tourists do not go to or are not allowed to take pictures. According to BBC News, very few people own cars, most people live in the remotest areas, and most villagers even have to tend allotments together and share the produce to overcome their poverty.
