Enough Proof

To Jessica, she was trapped in a sea of strangers. She didn’t even know that she looked a certain way. This was an extremely scary time for her, but she also needed to get some rest and recuperate. The pictures were proof enough for her to know that she could go home with her mom, albeit reluctantly.

Unfamiliar Territory

Jessica suddenly felt nervous going home with her parents. She was agitated all throughout, and in an effort to calm her daughter’s nerves, Lisa put a hand on Jessica’s lap. Instead of feeling comforted, it felt weird to have a stranger touch her in such a familiar fashion. So, she pushed her mum’s hand away.
