Life on the streets wasn’t easy, and because he refused to go back home, he would find himself asking friends if he could stay with them. And while a few opened up their homes to him, he couldn’t stay with them forever. During the times when he had nowhere to go, he would sleep on park benches and other open areas, all because he wanted to follow his dreams.

Wanting A Breakthrough

By the time he was 16, with photography and skateboarding being his main and practically only interests, he would spend his days at skate parks taking photographs of the skaters. He knew he wanted to become a skateboard photographer, iterating, “I dreamed of photographing skateboarding for a living and tried relentlessly to make it in the skateboarding industry.” But considering that he was just a teen, and a high-school dropout at that, his plan was not coming to fruition.
