Living In His Car

During the start of his career in San Francisco, Carsten was living in his car and using a local Starbucks as his ‘office.’ Having no other place to conduct business, and with just a few wedding clientele under his belt, plus a small range of weddings in his portfolio, he knew it was going to be a hard sell to get someone to hire him since his name wasn’t’ even in the industry. But eventually, a few couples did, and what happened next was going to be amazing.

His Reputation Grew

Eventually, with new clients came more chances for his talent as a wedding photographer to grow, as well as to add to his album of weddings that he had done. Carsten shares, “I was able to start booking clients, eventually turning weddings into my full-time job.”
