The 68-year-old man got the shock of his life when he was contacted by the authorities explaining that they had found his name and his ‘treasure’ stuck in an old television set.

What was even more surprising was that the man who owned it had forgotten that he had even left the money there in the first place. He put the cash inside for safe keeping, completely forgetting that it was there, and ended up giving the television set to a friend years later. And it’s almost certain that if his friend had ever known what was inside the television set, he would have never given it away.
