Popov was always confident about his talents and abilities. He learned his computer skills early on in life. The basics were acquired in school with a Ukrainian-made IBM clone called the Poisk-I. When he was 15, his father gifted him with his very first laptop and modem, and this was when Popov learned the ins and outs of the online world.
