An Annual Walk
Jim and Rhonda Beckford felt that the police were not looking into Kara’s case enough. Trying to take matters into their own hands, they began an “Annual Walk” for Kara. Family, friends and even other neighbors joined her parents as they would walk down Missouri 58 to bring more awareness into the disappearance of Kara. This became a tradition that would continue throughout the years.
