Discovering Skeletal Remains
On April 3 and 4 of 2017 respectively, two separate skeletal remains were found not too far from each other. They were also found near an area where both Kara and Jessica had gone missing years before. Eventually, the first set of remains were positively identified as that of Jessica’s, but the other has yet to be confirmed whether they belonged to Kara or not. Jessica’s mom shared, “(Police) brought us here [the site of where they found the skeletal remains] because they thought there would be some new information that would come in but it just hasn’t panned out to be that. We’re still just waiting.”
