As for Robert Ryan, Natasha’s dad, he still couldn’t believe that his daughter was actually alive. When police had told him that they had found her, they allowed him to speak with her on the phone at first. In order to know if it was truly her, he asked her what his pet name for her was, to which she answered, “I love you Dad, and it’s Grasshopper.” According to Robert, not only was he in complete and utter shock, but his ‘feelings swung from happiness to hurt and confusion.’ Yet despite that, everyone was just so grateful that Natasha was actually alive.
