Ashleigh’s Mom Gets A Call
When Ashleigh failed to arrive home, her mom Andrea shares that she felt her world drop when she called her daughter’s phone and the police answered. She said, “I felt as if my heart had been ripped out. My whole world fell apart in those two second.” When the policewoman arrived at Andrea’s house, she continues, “The policewoman [who later came to her house] didn’t even get the words out. I wouldn’t let her say it. Deep down I knew what she was going to say.” And when she told her that they found Ashleigh’s body, Andrea collapsed to the ground.
