When He Was 15
At the age of 15, Chapman apparently had begun having run-ins with the law in regards to his various assaults against women. In 1993, he had been accused of rape, and again just a few years later, he was accused again. But the police never pursued either case and eventually, they were both dropped. Then in 1996, at the age of 19, Chapman would actually get charged and sentenced for a crime that he was finally convicted for.
