Questioning Marshall And Sarah

When detectives were able to finally speak with Howe’s roommates, Marshall and Bush, they would tell them the same thing that they told Howe’s friend. Howe had decided to just pack up his things and leave, not telling them where he went. And although the police had their reservations, there was nothing that they could do at the time. There was no evidence of foul play, yet.

He Had Killed Howe

Police had no idea at the time that Howe was, indeed, gone, just not in the way they thought. Howe happened to already be dead, and it was Marshall who killed him. It had been on the evening of March 8 or 9 when Marshall had taken a knife and stabbed him in the back twice, using a 4-inch blade. The knife managed to puncture one of Howe’s lungs, which later on made medical examiners think he may have been alive for up to an hour after he was stabbed, but that was nothing close to the atrocity of what Marshall had done to him afterwards.
