Missing Guns
Dallas explains that on the day of the attack on Evelyn, he had seen a white van parked on their street near their apartment while on his way to work. And Jesse had a friend named Julio who owned a white van like that. Dallas says, “I left for work and they must have been sitting around the corner waiting for me to leave.” This is when Evelyn claims that, “At some point, Jesse came back over, knocked on the door, and that’s when he shot me and stabbed me.” And apparently, Dallas, who owned guns, said that two of his weapons were missing from their home. Maybe one of the guns was used to shoot Evelyn, but this has yet to be proven.
