On November 5, 2016, Evelyn was due to go to work that evening, but before her shift, she decided to take a nap. According to her boyfriend, his mom was supposed to pick her up from their place and drop her off at her job at Walmart. Dallas explains, “So my mom called me at about 10 o’clock and told me that she went to the house to pick up Evelyn and that she wasn’t there.”
