Meeting Her Boyfriend, Dallas Eyerman
Within a month of arriving in Texas, Erin had met her soon-to-be boyfriend Dallas Eyerman. He was one year older than she, and at 19-years of age, he had been working for one of the railroads. She and Dallas moved in together after having met and dated for just a couple of weeks, and she believed him to be the love of her life. She even said, “I was with the person that I love so much. Like, I connected with Dallas instantly. More than I’ve ever connected with anybody.”
