Never Write Your Name In Red Ink

In Japan, the color red usually signifies death and because of this, you should never write your name in red ink. Not only is red said to be a sign of death, its roots go back to a time when the samurai would use red to signify they wanted to duel with an enemy. Red also signifies bankruptcy and is considered as bad luck all around.
