Rex’s mom, who was found for questioning had said, “Everybody that knows us here knows exactly where it came from,” referring to the dad’s own rape cases against him. Rex’s defense still tried to plead with the jury that Rex was a product of a cruel upbringing, but his dad had further claimed that Rex was a peeping Tom since he was a child. He said, “Rex was oversexed from the time he was 5 or 6.”
