Honoring Rachel
Rachel’s aunt, Stephanie Morreale had said, “Up until now, I wasn’t going to give up hope that she was being held against her will.” Until she heard the awful truth, she was hoping against hope that Rachel was still alive. Even Rachel’s student advisor from her high school, Robert Cunard, had said, “[Rachel was] a friend to many people. She had a good heart and [was] just the kind of kid that you’d want your daughter to grow up to be.” Sadly for Rachel, and all those who knew and loved her, that day will never come to pass.
