The Importance Of Mary Brunner
It seems that one of the turning points of Manson’s criminal career came into play when he and Mary Brunner met. She was considered his first “convert.” From this time onwards, Manson’s following grew, picking up girls here and there while traveling to different locations. Brunner got pregnant and birthed Manson’s third son whom they named Valentine Michael Manson, after a favorite character of Manson from the book, Stranger in a Strange Land. Although Manson could hardly read, he heard the story told by many of his fellow inmates. Remarkably, his third son is also nowhere to be found.
