When Diggy’s photos reached the township’s police department, authorities became concerned as questions of the smiling pooch’s breed came surfacing. Waterford, Michigan has a type of ordinance called breed-specific legislation, banning pit bulls in the township after several mauling incidents involving the breed. Because of this, Diggy was suddenly in the crosshairs of the law, and his beautiful smile and big head were to blame for it.
